HEADNOTE :
Hindu Marriage Act,1955 -- Section 23(2) -- Personal appearance of parties -- Section 23(2)
is a salutary provision exhibiting the intention of parliament requiring the court "in the first
instance" to make every Endeavour to bring about a reconciliation between the parties -- In light
of this Court have power to issue direction to the parties to remain personally present in court -
- Issuance of NBW for non-appearance is well within the power of court and by doing this Court
